beeHive Hockey96 Pool Final Standings

There was quite a battle in the last month or so, but Terry managed to avoid the injury bug and lays claim to the Rogue Puck (TM) indicating Total Hockey Pool Supremacy (THPS). It also means that we gotta put up with his bragging rights for a while:

It was a hard fought season. Every team in the league this year was tough. And my team was just lucky enough to avoid the injuries that beset other teams.
In the end however, it was a complete team effort that paid off. I have to give credit where credit is due - to the players. After all, it is the players who win, not management. The players gave it their all throughout the season. Everyone contributed to this great victory. I'm very proud of the team and happy to accept the win on their behalf.
I'd like to take this moment to say thanks to the fans that supported the team all year long. And also thanks to those dedicated officials that make a pool such as this one a great success.
I know you're all interested in how the team and I will celebrate. I guess we'll rest and enjoy this win for a couple of days. But we can't sit back on our laurels. The playoffs are a completely new season.

The Rules

Here's all the gory details:

The pool lasts the duration of the regular season. First prize is bragging rights and a puck - not just any puck, but a beat-up old rogue puck which was shot over the boards by some team and given up for lost!!!
Standings will be updated automagically each morning about 3am.
You can make one trade each month starting in November. Basically you trade one player for another in the same group and you only get points for the player while he's in your lineup (you get the idea). You can't accumulate trades - you use it or lose it. Just email me your trade along with the point difference between the two players you are trading (old player points minue new player points) based on the displayed stats in the current standings at the time you send the email message. Since the stats are always about a day behind, you'll essentially have one day of hindsight in making your trade. Everyone can take advantage of this though so we're playing even (ie. if you know one guy got 12 points one night, the next day you could trade for him and still get those 12 points).
The 'Points Adjustment' mentioned in the above stats is simply the sum of the point differences for players involved in trades that have been made. For instance, if you traded a player with 15 points for a player with 5 points, the 'Points Adjustment' would have 10 added to it. This way, in order to find the grand total for your team, we simply need to sum the points for the current players in each of the 14 groups and add the 'Points Adjustment' value... make sense?
If in the company of another poolster who is trailing you in the standings, you must make some attempt at ribbing or some other form of light bragging in order to magnify your deep understanding and insights into this sport and that you are not leading due to dumb luck. At the same time you might want to point out that your opponent made stupid picks.
If in the company of another poolster who is ahead of you in the standings, you must make some attempt to clarify why you are trailing (ie. injuries, unproductive linemates, dumb luck on your opponents part, etc). Do not admit that you just made stupid picks.
If in the company of another poolster who is tied with you in the current standings, you must compliment that person on his/her high level of understanding and overall astute knowledge of the game and point out that dumb luck can be the only possible reason for anyone accumulating more points. At the same time be sure to point out the stupid picks made by the others who are trailing you in the pool.
